whats this mean, please help?
ok about a month ago, i spilled my guts to one of my friends, told her that i like her alot, and all this stuff, shes only 13. well she wrote me back and said she hasnt ever seen us as more thanfriends, and that she dont like me like that but she dont want it to ruin our 8 year frendship.. well..over the past month, I've been avoiding her, simply for my sake, just simply not to bring those feelings back up, cuz when I'm around her they all come back. but she emailed me yesterday, and said she was sad, becauze it was straining our friendship. and she wants things like they used to be, well i told her why i had been avoinding her, and she said she totatlly understood why. well, I know she dont like me like that now, but am I crazy to think there mite be sumthin in the future, cuz she was obvioulsy ( she said) she was really sad, seeing us like this, and since shes only 13, am i crazy to think there mite be sumthin in the next year or two? she also said, " dont take the rejection to heart

and for those who say, I am punsihing her, I am not in any way. We have had very friendly discussions, and she understands why, things have been this way. And I have reassured her, promised her, that I will make things the way the used to. Do u really think I want to lose the friendship as well? I mean, that hurts.

I mean, its not like I'm ugly, I'm very atractive, and so is she. I mean I'm fit, I play varsity baseball, and am only a sophmore, It's not like I'm a geek or anything. And the same with her, she is very good lookin, has guys hitting on her all the time, and is on the national swim team, I just dont know what to do, cuz i swear to god i love her more than anything in this world

It sounds to me like the two of you communicate better than a lot of married couples. I think you should respect your feelings, but respect her's as well. I know you're disappointed, but accepting some disappointment is part of any relationship, romantic or otherwise. As for the future, who knows? She's only 13. Be patient with her.

I'm impressed with how the two of you are handling this, which is in a very mature fashion, given how young you are. You're struggling with an issue that hits a lot of adult relationships.
As friends grow and mature, one of them will reach a deeper emotional state than the other. This is where you're at. If your friend can't, or isn't ready, to meet your emotional level, you have to move on. You can remain friends if it's not too painful, but you need to explore other love relationships. She needs to do the same. If you two are meant to be together, you'll find each other in the near future.

im sorry for ur situation!!! the same thing is going on in my life rihgt now im 15 i am absolutly in love with this guy and although i havent had the guts to tell him i know he sees us as no more then friends even tough ive felt like this for 3 years!! my suggestion to u is wait give it time in that time see other ppl and iff ur feeling for her never change go to her and look her in the eye be completly serious tell her how youve fellt and for how long u have felt htis way tell her u cant live without her and it breaks ur heart to know that we may always be just friends for the rest of our lives!!!! dont make her feel sorry for u but tell her for real dont let her leave with out her knowing every detail!!!!! and beyond that just love her and be patient if its meant to be it will happen but sometimes u do have to play with fate a lil!!!

aww.....you really do like her! maybe you should just try to get closer to her as a friend. then if she likes the idea, ask her out. i hope this all works out for you! write e-mails full of compliments about what you like about her, or just have a normal conversation. honestly, i don't think a guy would write this much unless he really likes a girl.

Maybe she wants you on the back burner, when she knows you better, maybe you can be more than friends, you are young, have plenty of girlfriends until the right one comes along...
