I don't think one is worse than the other. A baby's skull will compress until the soft spot has closed. They are very durable as babies. Relax hun. I was a new mother once to I remember My brother was the chief pediateric resident and I drove him nuts!! She is now 20 and in college and i have 3 more. As long as the baby didn't pass out or have a dent ( lumps are ok) I would say all is ok.

The back of the head is worst because the skull bone in the back has not fully grown. The is especially true near the top. If you feel up there there is actually a soft spot. However as other have said any head injury is dangerous to a baby.

How old is the baby? If it's an infant, under 9 months of age, any fall could seriously injure the baby. And could even be considered child abuse. If it's older...it could still be considered child abuse (negligence), but definitely the front, I would say is worse.
Just don't drop your baby on its head....and try not to worry so much.

NEITHER! Any fall could injure the child. If you suspect any damage see the ER immediately!
