How do you say "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" in Spanish in America? Is it "un sandwich de crema de mani y la jelea?" Or should the "la" be there at all before "jalea"?

Sorry, the title was supposed to be "PB&J" not "PG&J." I would like the simple way to say it; I'm in Spanish II right now, so we don't talk the same way they do in Spain.

around here we say un sandwich de crema de cacahuate y jalea
