Who started World War I/World War II, and through what years where these in?
Note: This is not my homework. It just struck me that I had no clue about this. Also, what happened throughout these wars? I know it was bad, because of the deaths of the war fighters, but was there any other reason? It's nagging at my brain!!! I can't get the thought out!

:) Also, I know that in sixth grade, you take Geography, in seventh you take Civics, and in eighth, you have American History. What classes do you take in High School, if not what are options for Social Studies?

the 1st World War came about due to the assassination of the Arch Duke Ferdinand. This was in 1914, the 1st World was 1914-1918, 1916-1918 for the Americans.
The 2nd World war started after the Germans invaded Poland in 1939, the 2nd World War was 1939-1946, or 1942-1946 for the Armericans.

war two was started partly becasue hitler and his reign wanted to take control of other euroepean countries and the other countries fought back.
world war one was kicked off when the Archduke Franz Ferdiand of austria-hungary was assianssated by a sernian, annd the autro-hungarians, went to war with serbia, and then everybody look sides.

WWII started with three countries invading the neighboring countires.
German, Italy and Japan were militarily ally and start the fronts invasions to the neighboring countries.

I think The Germans strated both.
the first was from 1914 to 1918
and the second was from 1945 to 1948 (not sure)
