Exercise the lower half of your body to tone it and exercise aerobically to lose weight too.
I will explain. You can do lunges or squat with a weight or cycle or run or walk. All of these will tone you lower body. However running and lunging combined would be best. Running is an Aerobic activity. ( It requires that you breathe to perform the activity ) Lunges and squatting are anaerobic. You will not need to breathe to perform the activity.
Lunges target the area as do squatting, by toning up the muscle and tightening it all up. Running will burn fat from the area and use the muscles.
In addition to these you need to cut out any sweets. If you have a sweet tooth have low fat yoghurt and fruit whenever you get the urge.
Cut out fried food and cheese and reduce your portions. It is important that you eat though. You need three meals a day and a snack mid morning and afternoon too if you feel like it but make sure the snack is heathly. Eat lots of veg and cut down on bread and pasta.
In one month you should have lost about 7 lbs.
But don't stress try tyo enjoy the excercise and don't think about food all day or you will eat too much. Take up a hobby if you can to keep you from desiring to snack.

Losing weight can be one of the hardest things to do . Trust me I know, my husband and I have been exercising and eating right for over 2 months now and we have both lost over 20 pounds. The most important thing to do is to eat right. No matter how much you exercise if you are not eating right your weight won't budge. Think low-fat. Not starve yourself just make better choices. Instead of a big juicy burger from a fast food place go home and make yourself a turkey burger. Alot of people think that they have to starve to lose weight and that just isn't true. I eat at least 4 different meals a day. Learn how to read food labels. As for exercise, walking is a great exercise for your lower body, just have to make sure you get your heart rate up. There are other lower body exercises that will help, lunges, squats, leg lifts. Check it out online. There is so much info out there about lower body exercises I'm sure that you'll be able to find exercises that will work for you. Good Luck!!

Check with you doctor before beginning any diet plan, I could be that your hormones are still out of whack since the pregnancy.
