Wow. That sounds so easy. And in a way it is. God took all the stress from us. He made it easy for us. Jesus was not just some guy nailed to a cross. He took on the burden of sin. He took on the burden of YOUR sin (of MY sin). All that we do, and have done, and will do. If it is a sin. God covered it. With the blood of his son. Can you imagine how much he loves you? Would you send your son to the cross to die for the sins of your neighbor? Send your son to be ridiculed, spit on, whipped, beaten, and crucified. Would you do that? I believe God did that to show us how much he loves us. Because of the way we are - we have to see the greatest sacrifice. We can't seem to just have faith and believe. So, yes. It is that easy. However, when you believe with all your heart. And when you feel just a morsal of the pain that our God sacrificed for us. It is no longer easy to keep on sinning. But we do sometimes. We forget. We want what we want - when we want it. We are born of sin and inclined to sin. It is our nature. God knew this. And he made a way for all of us. It is his desire for you to accept him, to believe in him, to believe in his love for you and his deep deep deep desire for you to spend time with him and get to know him. To receive free all he wants to give you. That Christianity thing is something isn't it? It is too good to be true? It seems that way. But, your salvation - your forgivenss was bought and paid for (deeply) by the guy they nailed to a cross 2000 years ago. God Bless You Always and keep you safe. And may you receive ALL he wants to give you now and forever.

Um you're missing a lot of things. All people, christian or not have to answer to God for their sins. By believing that Christ died on the cross for your sins you can ask God to forgive you and He will.

God and Jesus are part of the same entity. You cannot believe in Jesus and not God. God, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are the same entity: the Holy Trinity. And you don't "answer" for your sins. You talk to God and ask for forgiveness. He forgives all if you are willing to help yourself.

Dear cdrfish20,
I am sorry to tell you, but you have been given a false gospel. This false gospel is so prevalent today in the world. These false gospels are so attractive and enticing but they lead to hell. I do not have the time to explain what salvation is and what the "True Gospel" is but I hope that you will check out some of my references. May the Lord guide you into truth. There is a call-in Bible answer program (radio) called Familyradio. Google it.

Yes.
Hebrews 10:16-18 (King James Version)
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Hebrews 8:12 (King James Version)
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
It is believing that God sent his son, Jesus (who is also God) to become a human like you and to die for those who deserve to die. and to come back to life so those that believe in Him who was dead and is now alive can be alive like Him even if they die. They will live forever and God won't hold your sins over your head.
1st John 1:9 Says "If we confess our sins, He (Jesus) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness."
That means The Slate is Washed Clean!!!

Go to a Christian church, like Baptist, Assembly of God, Pentecostal Holiness or Non denominational church and listen to the message and when the invitation to accept Jesus into your life comes, go forward. There should be someone to council with you after they service. I wish you the best.

sweetie, I'm afraid you are missing a lot. Everyone, sinner or saint, will answer at judgement day. If you are a Christian, after you have been humbeled by your good and bad deeds, Jesus' blood will cover your wrongdoings and you will enter the kingdom of Heaven.

NO.
I definetely disagree. I think thats bullshit.
I blieve that every person is the only responsible for his actions. We cant rely on STH like that. Today's Christian religion is diffrent from the juses's religion.
It doesnt make me convinced that you if i blieve to jesus then i would go to heaven, even if i am a criminal.
