BTW, I NEED VS 2005 Pro. Other versions don't have the most updated MFC version. (I program in C++)

You're a developer and you haven't looked into MSDN? That's what you should be getting a subscription to.

Visual Studio Express versions are free. Their purpose is specifically for education.

Ofcourse, vb6 is a much easier environment for students to learn basic programing at that level...without having to bother with managed code. Most highschools are still using vb6 to teach with I believe.
