Can I cut an oval shape out of an egg roll wrapper, wrap it around a cannoli tube and deep fry it? Will that taste like a cannoli--without the cinnamon?

You've NEVER had a canolli????? I've been away from NY for 10 months and I am dying for a canolli. Cinnamon? You have DEFINITELY never had a canolli. I suppose the fact that you've never had one would help to make whatever you create out of that egg roll wrapper taste OK.
Good Luck with that.

Some times you have to make do with what's left.
First, don't cut the wrappers, wet them and fold them in half.
Do a test on one and see what happens, it should be nice and crispy but fragile so be careful. When you have them all ready and they're stuffed, I love this, squeeze a bit of honey over them and roll them in sugar, powdered sugar is the real deal if you have it.
Look in the fridge on the bottom shelf in the back, the Hershy's Chocolate syrup should be there, I don't have to tell ya what you do with that. Ennnnnnnjoy

no! You can use raw ones to make ravioli, though.

No, don't do that. It won't work nor taste good.
