Last time I was in Austarlia I ate "deep-sea bugs" (which I think were like a horshoe crab), and I also ate some whitchety grubs. Both dishes were actually quite delicious.

Have a VB for me!

kangaroo is good a bit plain though maybe just cos i was brought up on it, living on australia and all. snails are surprisingly nice, especially considering it was the first time mum cooked them, whitchetty grubs are good too and emu meat is nice a bit tough though, you should try these while you're here in Aussie, except the snails cos they're french, my boyfriend had crocodile when he was in Darwin and says that was very nice also. the thing that surprised me most thought was stuffed vine leaves they're quite nice.

Eel at the sushi train. Had a friend that cooked eel in the past and it stunk the whole office out. But the eel at sushi train is actually beautiful.

Also the first time I tried sashimi - had been scared of eating raw fish in the past but when I tried it for the first time I couldnt stop! Salmon sashimi with wasabi - yummo!

Funnily enough, it was in Sydney when I had sheep's brains in a Lebanese restaurant. Tasted lovely. Very filling though, and a bit squishy.
