Sweet and Sour Pork
1 pound pork rib chops
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup corn starch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups oil
a little ginger, scallion and salt
Cut meat into the size of small mushrooms. Cut ginger and scallion into very find strips. Marinate the meat with soy sauce, salt, ginger and scallion for 15 to 20 minutes. Mix the flour and corn starch with one cup of water, then mix together with the pork. Let every piece of pork is coated by the batter. Put the wok on high heat, pour oil in and heat until it's half warm. Put the pork chops in one by one; fry until a crust forms. Switch to medium heat, cover the wok and fry until the crust is golden brown. Take the meat out and drain the oil. Leave about two tablespoons of oil in the wok. Put the vinegar and sugar in the wok; stir slowly until the sugar melt. Switch to high heat, put the meat in and stir quickly so that all the pork chops are covered by the sweet and sour sauce.

I got this recipe from a Mr. Food cookbook for diabetics. I modified it a bit. It's very good!
4 pork chops (1" thick) They can be smaller (just remember the cooking time will be less)
2 tablespoons olive oil (for the frying pan) use Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
1/2 cup olive oil (for later) EVOO
1 tablespoon minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup fresh, chopped basil leaves
Heat up your skillet - medium high heat
Add the 2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper the pork chops (both sides)
add to the pan.
If the chops are at 1" thick, turn over after 5/6 minutes
When the chops are on the other side, and have cooked for about 4 minutes, add the other ingredients (the remaining olive oil, the garlic and the basil leaves)
Watch so the the garlic doesn't burn. You may have to turn the heat down.
Once the chops have browned on both sides for 5-6 minutes, remove from pan and cover to keep warm.
Add the heavy cream, keep the pan at medium high and whisk the cream into the olive oil mixture until it gets thick. (about 4 minutes). Remove from pan. Pour sauce over pork chops.
If your pork chops aren't as thick, you may need only brown them on 4 minutes a side.
We really like this recipe. My husband is a diabetic. We are always looking for healthy recipes for him and me (I have high blood pressure!)
I hope this works out for you!

Brown them after seasonings, then put in a pan or oven proof dish, with cream of mush soup and half a can of milk. Bake until tender at 350 abt 2 hrs, until pork falls apart. Stir in some sour cream but not necessary. Serve with buttered noodles or mashed potatoes. Yum..easy.
p.s.You could also add fresh mushrooms and pour the whole thing over top ramen noodles, cooked, and throw in some green beans.

I like to put a pork roast or chops or any pork product in the crockpot with a couple cans of sauerkraut and several peeled potatoes. Cook for about 6 hours or until potatoes and pork are done. Yummy!

If you want a bit of an Asian taste to baby pork spare ribs, go and buy a bottle of Lee Kum Kee Spare Ribs sauce from the local Chinese supermarket like Ranch99.
You just need to marinate the ribs, sear them in a hot pan then put them in the oven to fully cook it. I have the step by step guide here:
http://simcooks.com/79/spare-ribs/
You can also make soup using pork as the base ingredient. I have a few simple recipes listed under the category "Soup" in my food blog: http://www.simcooks.com

Pork Pieces? Are you talking about boneless spare ribs/country ribs? Either way you can do anything with pork. I take bone-in chops and season them with Emeril's Essence seasoning with fresh ground pepper and garlic powder on both sides and broil them. Or with the boneless spare ribs or country ribs I season them with garlic and pepper and broil them and when they are just about finished I based them with BBQ sauce. My favorite BBQ is either Stubbs or Cattleman's Original.
Another one is season the pork peices or chops then lightly coat with flour and pan cook them in olive oil for about 5 minutes each side then take a can of Cream of Mushroom chop up some carrots and cook together. Then serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.

Pork pieces ? Ears, chitlins, testicles, feet ?
I dont like any of that stuff - I just get some pork chops with some
fat on them and bake them with a little black pepper on them.
Sometimes I throw a slice of pineapple on each of them
and/or pour a little gravy on them with some canned veggies
or potatoes. You can even boil them with some cabbage and
potatoes and anything else that you like and season to taste
