I'm so FU**ING sick of hearing people justify the war in Iraq with the terror attacks! Iraqi's didn't attack us. For all of you idiots that believe that propaganda still are a disgrace to your country. Men died to make this country what it is and morons who support the murder of innocent people because the president said it was ok make me sick. Bush,Cheeney,Runsfelt and Rice wouldn't last a second because they wouldn't do it. YES THEY DO THINK THEY ARE PLAYING WITH TOY SOLDIERS. And about them having been to Iraq, they were fully guarded and didn't have to worry about being killed like our soldiers and they won't have to live with the fact that they murdered innocent people because it was their JOB. Blah

"And lets not forget the innocent Iraqis."

Oh shut up.

It is because we didn't forget the "innocent Iraqis" that Bush Sr. had revolting (and getting massacred) after Gulf War 1 that we are devoting an incredible amount of time to ensuring that various ethnic minorities in Iraq (Kurd, Ashuri, Kaldani) are fairly treated and more or less protected from harm by serious paramilitary action. No, you don't know all the answers because you don't see the reconstruction work on schools, farms, roads, that the American government is behind.

As for the "feelings" part, shut up. None of my friends who have been crippled in Iraq deserve your pity or want it. No other veteran deserves your pity. What do you think you mean by "never be able to live a normal life physical[sic] as well as emotionally" anyways? What, just because troops get wounded they're no longer people? Do you think we'd all run around like Tom Cruise in "The Fourth of July" perhaps? Most everyone I know who served up north in a certain part of Iraq in the summer of 2003 has chemical burns in their lungs. Most everyone is well-adjusted and living happily, thank you very much.

Tell you what: If you're so hellbent on seeing other people whose political views you do not agree with pound sand and gravel out in Iraq, WHY DON'T YOU GO? Exactly. Stop it with the emotional garbage.

Well, I guess they'd hang out together and hold on for dear lives. Remember, none of those guys and that chick have ever been in the service. It's nice that they are sending people off to war when they did whatever they could to stay out of going to war. I think they would be OK unless you took their portfolios away from them, all their investments and see if they could live on soldier's pay. The more I learn, the more they make me sick. What makes me laugh most of all is the people on here who still think this is about terrorists. As far as I can tell, Cheney has no compassion, he spends most of his time passing the buck while he counts his $$$. Condi Rice is resentful because she had to sit in the back of the bus when she was a kid a million years ago, and Bush is just stupid. I guess its us who should have compassion for them.

Let's not forget 9/11 and the Islamic terrorists' demands.
The price we'll pay to squash this ideology will be very high - the price we'll pay if we don't will be very much higher.

Your question reminds me of a Will Rogers' quote:

"How many hunters would there be if rabbits carried guns?"

I think it's safe to say, they understand. Believing they are robots sending children to war like some michael moore docudrama is really immature. Nobody wants war, but I thank God we're doing our best to stop them from waging it.
