I want him to have absolutely no reservations and know that if he asked, I'd say yes.

He's already talked about it. I don't bring it up because I DON'T want to be the type who makes him feel like he *has* to do it sometime soon. And NO, I will NOT ask him to marry me...sorry, just don't believe in that nonsense.

Do what a wife would do. Wash his clothes, cook, support him in any decision he makes, keep the house clean. Have a hot meal ready for him when he comes home from work. Just be good to him. He'll get the picture. He'll know.

Take your time, be sure you are happy with yourself first. Get what you can out of life before you settle down. Real maturity is the best way to show someone you are ready for marriage. Finish your education, see the world, find a great career then settle down, getting married isn't the 100 yard dash.

this is a tricky one ... because most guys are freaked out by marriage ... you didn't say how long you've been together or if your over 18 ... I would say if you've been dating 2 years than maybe drop a hint or two ... but if not than just wait it out but start doing domestic things for him ... (small domestic things)

Don't be overly eager because you might chase your boyfriend away from you. Let him be the one to bring up the topic when the time is right.

If he's already talked about it, he's thinking about it himself, so you've got nothing to worry about. All you can do is wait and see what happens.
