Hi! I work full-time and attend college as well and so I am always struggling with fitting in exercise. I have found the best thing that works for me is to make it part of my regular schedule. I made it as important a priority in my life as eating and sleeping, which are things we all need to do to survive.
TIPS:
1) When you go to the grocery store or a shopping place where you use a cart, park far out in the lot & then return the cart to the store after emptying it.
2) Always take the stairs if given the option. If you know you'll be somewhere with stairs on a particular day, be sure to wear shoes that you can climb stairs in.
3) Dancing in your own place is also a great form of exercise.
With regards to diet, my feelings are always the same. Make good choices, stay away from fast food (unless you're having the salad or yogurt item), and eat 'no white at night' (no white pasta, bread or rice) because it will convert to sugar & ultimately more calories. I lost my 22lbs (in 4 1/2 months) when I adopted the 'no white at night' policy and increased my vegetable intake by 4-5 times what I used to eat.
p.s. I still have a small piece of chocolate almost every day and it doesn't affect my weight because it is just ONE piece, not a bar or bag of candy.

I used to be overweight too, and since I started my healthy way of eating in February I have lost 60 pounds, how? let me tell you. I work out 3 or 4 times a week, you know I do 20 minutes cardio, and about 1 hour of weights. If you start wiht weights first you will develop more muscle, but if you do cardio first you'll define your muscle. now eating is very important, and this is what i do in the mornings cereal or oat meal just one cup and fruit (fresh) or non-fat yogurth, lunch you can eat wathever you want, but try not to exceed and no yunk food but lots of veggies and fruits water instead of soft drinks, for dinner (before 7:00) a light meal tuna salad, chicken breast (grilled), soups or a glass of milk with a banana or a couple of cookies. I hope this information will help you, and for motivation, just be proud of yourself and keep going

Talk it over with your family.
Run 2 miles per day, 6 days per week.
Buy a great pair of running shoes and clothes that keep you cool while working out.
What you eat or don't will matter a lot less once you get the right amount of exercise.
Good Luck
