i feel like im gaining weight so much lately. i exercise somewhat but i gain, i dont know why. and i though maybe after 2 months i would have lost some. so what are some great ways to loose weight?

continue exercising. focus more on cardio, not so much weights. cardio burns fat. weights tone and sculpt and develop or maintain muscle .muscle gives you strength/what u use to do cardio.
eat less calories. here's a good formula:
example:
my weight : 170
add 0 to end: 1700
minus my weight:1530
1530 my ideal coloric intake while i'm trying to lose weight.
shop the perimeter of the grocery store. the aisles get you in trouble.
fruits, veggies, bread, dairy, meat, and Leave!!!
Fresh foods are better for you.
Eat 5 or six times per day.
Breakfast must include balance of protein and carbs
on the go? have a shake
snack? baked chips,yogurt,cheese,or granola bar
lunch?salad, lite dressing(calorie and portion -wise)
grilled chicken sandwich mustard no mayo
snacks?
dinner?meat should be no larger thasn the palm of your hand
fresh veggies(as much as you want , non starchy veggies)
small portion of starch-wheat bread, brown rice
snack if you need one

I used to be 235 lbs. its been off for almost 2 years. good luck!!!
remember, there is no such thing as a diet. you must live a healthy lifestyle. if you make a mistake, dont wait until monday to get back on track, do it now!!!!

i have the same problem as you
what i think the best way is the folowing

visit the gym at least 4-5 times a week
make sure you eat 15-30 miutes after you r done excercising (i dont know why but if you wait too long you gain extra weight)
make sure u try to sign up for an extar curricular activity
and also you should make sure not to ever over eat
one thing that helped me is remembering that iyou cant lose 20 lbs in a day
it takes time and patience
if it doesnt look like its working
like if you havent lost more than 5 lbs
and its been a month dont lose hope if you stop for some time u will gain it all back

You might think about trying The Movie Star Diet. I lost 50 pounds with it after only five months, and I couldn't be happier. I've tried a lot of different diets (Atkins, South Beach, and Weight Watchers, etc.) and none of them worked anywhere near as well as this one. It's definitely worth a shot if you really want to see a difference in a short time.

You MUST exercise REGULARLY; set a schedule and stick to it. Also, your diet (what you eat) is important. Eat plenty of fibers and vegetables (they send you to the toilet-your body removes waste-that's a good thing cause you're getting the weight of things your body no longer needs out of you). You also want to stay away from fatty foods and junk food (that way you are not taking in and retaining things your body does not need). Water can help and hurt cause you may experience water weight gain, so the water factor is up to you. You may want to try some fitness water.

Remember that 70% of weight loss = diet, so try to watch your food intake on a daily basis. There are really good plans on there like Weight Watchers, calorieking.com, the Zone, etc.

The key is to stay consistent and remember to exercise 4 to 5 times a week.

You have to burn more energy than you put in to your body to lose weight. We gain because our energy intake is higher than our expenditure.
So excercise and eat three small meals a day. Try to eat healthy food like wholegrain bread and pasta and tuna, skinless chicken or turkey. Lots of fruit and veg.
Soon your metabolism, (rate that your body burns fuel for energy),will increase through exercise and you will be able to eat a little more.

The best way that I lost weight was to avoid any food that is white and dairy products like breads, rice, pasta, cheese, etc. My weight use to be 160lbs and I went on this diet and work out and I lost 12lbs in 7days I will be happy to email you the recipe to the diet I use it and It really works I am a witness.

Pilates!! This was the only way I could loose weight. Do like 20 min everyday in your house wiht a video. It's awesome!! Denise Austin's pilates for every body is the best! Also watch what you eat!

well if u r at a younger age it is easier to lose weight, a great way is to go on a walk everyday with a friend or a slow jog it really Burns the fat off u, another way is to let off on the cokes and fast foods, if u do drink cokes get the DIET ones NOT the regular, fast food places have wat 2 many calories in their food instead of buying just the regular foods try looking at the calories before buying it or just buy all the fat free stuff

don't eat fatty foods and exercises more then "somewhat" drink lots of water. At least 16 oz's before each meal is a great way to make yourself feel full so you don't eat so much.
