Zero Odor--it works GREAT! You can find it on the internet at zero odor store.com. Their phone number is 1-877-595-6942. Also Urine Gone works good, too. You can find it on the internet also, and I've bought it at Rite Aid.

I too tried lots. Nature's Miracle, professional cleaner, Febreeze antibacterial, and the couch still smells like a litter box.

I washed the cushions in the bathtub and did the stuff above, then I wrapped them in a mattress cover and taped it shut, then I put the covers on it after I washed the covers 2 times in the washer and doused it in Nature's Miracle. So the cushions are fine now, it's the back cushion of the couch that smells gross.
Now when you sit down, you gently sink down because of the air trapped in the cushion, ha ha.
I will try the beer thing. See how that works. I have a mini wet vacuum cleaner, I will try that too. My couch is in such great condition, I'd hate to replace it.

You are going to think this is crazy but it works. Beer. I am not kidding it will remove the smell, once dry the smell of the beer dissapates and you can go back with a upholstery cleaner. Works great on carpet also. I am hoping you are talking about a small area and not the whole sofa. Vinegar seems to only irritate the smell and make it worse.

You will NEVER get it out of the couch. EVER. That is one of those smells that just doesn't go away. I have tried ALL the products in the shelter I work at, but NOTHING works. Get a new couch.

have you tried Zero Odor? It's available at zeroodorstore.com. It worked on my couch. It's not cheap, but the product is worth it - it will neutralize the smell of the litter box, even.

I would call a professional cleaning company, and see if they have a solution for this problem, and if they guarantee their work.
That smell is almost impossible to get rid of. Instead of wasting your money trying different store-brand cleaners, I would go straight to the experts.

The reason that nothing works is because it is impossible. Get a new couch or have that one reupholstered.
