this is not any longer propose yet lots of human beings do swim with contacts. Your contacts are like little sponges that are hydrated via although water source they're uncovered to... tears, disinfecting answer... pool water. Pool water has variable quantities of chlorine which would be risky at instances on your eye. there is an threat there might no longer be sufficient chlorine interior the pool and your contacts ought to take up a fungus, e-coli or different contaminant. My suggestion is to steer away from swimming in contacts. that's impossible to maintain each and all of the water out of your eyes... in spite of goggles. in case you do have your contacts uncovered to pool water, get rid of them right this moment and disinfect them, the prolonged publicity to the contaminants or irritants like chlorine will improve the prospect of eye probs.

In a pool? I can, but only for a bit. Dunno if it's the chemicals, the water hitting my eyes (I'm usually swimming, not just sitting ther, lol) or what, but I seem to keep 'em open for about 8-10 seconds, close 'em, then open 'em again if I need to. I know the second or third time I open 'em it's even harder and it stings more. I blame the chemicals.
