How do you know if you've really seen a ghost?

You don't. Many people have gotten themselves into deep trouble assuming some whispy vision is a ghost when it is in fact demonic.

I've seen 2 ghosts (yes i'll get slated for saying that). One was when i worked in an old peoples home,,,,what i thought was a residents dress hanging up in a doorway to dry actually wasn't.....and the other was on a quiet lane , late at night. I swerved to avoid someone who was running at the side of the road, but when i drove past there was nobody there.
Difficult to say what it feels like as everybody reacts differently, but i was scared for a split second and then just calm and accepting. You'll know if you've seen one believe me, The feeling is like nothing you can describe

'Seing a ghost' is just an expression.
A ghost is a memory (shade) of a previously living person or animal.
However, most hauntings are auditory! In other words, you will 'hear' or 'sense' a presence, rather than 'see' a ghost.
I have a resident ghost (auditory) in my residence, it obviously enjoys company, for all my dinner guests are treated to the sound of its footsteps.
Visual hauntings are as rare as snow in Summer.
As many other writers have already written,
'You would know...!'

You don't see ghost but I think they can see you..
I think spirits are on a different frequency then us. For an example take a fan, you see it has 3 blades on it when its off but when you turn it to a higher speed you can see right through the fan even though you know there are 3 blades on the fan. The energy is there without the body holding it down .Get it?

ghost are manly peoples imagenation playing with your memory, most of the people who think they have seen a ghost only make the connection with what they have seen after seeing somthing they can't eather remember of work out, like magic. But UFO's on the other hand ARE real!

if a ghost is present then everyone around would see it ... this is an energy left over in a place of what once was and is not consious energy
there have been many caught on film or eye witnessed by many people
this is not spirit , it is not demon

You'll KNOW! It's not a ghost, it's a demon of some sort. And if it's able to pop up visually at you? I'd start prayin or something. You'll get a really cold chill, or a rush of fear, or massive confusion. Those are a few hints.
