If you turn on the LCD and take a picture and then turn your camera off without turning off the LCD, it should be on the next time you turn the camera on. If it's not............. maybe something broke.

press the menu button and it should turn on and try to take a picture if after the picture it shows you the pic. on the lcd its just on power saver setting

i would recomend it like it that way though it last a lot longer

If your camera also has an electronic viewfinder, you can toggle which one should be on. (Check your manual.)

are u sure that the cap that all cameras have in front is off?
