I'm trying to stop masturbating, but it's really hard. Sometime's you're so tempted and you must do it. I have to stop because it's a sin..So, can anyone help me?

I only do it max twice a day..sometimes I don't even do it everyday..normally once. Is that still a sin? Also, what if i'm not looking at any girls(lust)?

First of all, I'd like to know where you got the idea that it is a sin. If it's like scratching an itch, it's no big deal. On the other hand, if you're doing it compulsively, like 5 or 6 times a day, I'd say you have a problem, not that different from a chemical addiction, and you probably need professional help to overcome it.

I have the same problem, I show restraint though. I do it not as often I used to. My step mom told me once, she was a church lady. She suggested it to me. Instead of having sex, It's not a sin, I've been doing it off and on for the past eighteen years. As long as you don't do it every single day, it gets kinda boring. Imagination has allot to do with it, like when you see a really great looking girl. You say to yourself, "that's one for the spank bank" no
