My heart seems to accellerate when I try to relax or go to sleep. If you have this situation, what was your diagnosis?

May be an over acive thyroid or stress and axiety could also cause it or some type of heart defect, again a very open question which can have alot of answers but a person would really have to know your history and other symtoms you may be having......could be alot of things!

Mine does that, but not only at night. It can happen any time of the day with me. I have narrowed it down to mainly when I skip a meal. That is when my electrolytes are all messed up which will mess with your heart.

angina and anxiety attacks--also decongestant meds cause mine
