Dont' feel bad - this happens to everyone. I have trained many people who say the same exact thing. I will share with you what I tell them. I say, "It doesn't matter that you had a bad (cheat) day. It's important that you eat healthy and exercise more than 50% of the week."
Think about it - 7 days are in a week and you should be able to eat healthy and exercise for 4 out of the 7. You will see results if you are consisent. CONSISTENCY is the key.
Stay confident and hang in there.

My mom works with other heavy ladies. They have a deal: At the beginning of the week, everyone puts ten dollars in a jar. Every day, they weigh themselves, and anyone who gained weight has to put another dollar in the jar. At the end of the week, whoever lost the most weight gets all the money.
You also might try to use exercise as your way to let out your negative feelings when you're having a bad day. Stressful customers at work? Do push-ups like you're pushing them in the face! Feeling frustrated about a relationship? Jog like it will actually make a difference!
I also always like to mention to dieters that the way sumo wrestlers put on weight is by eating a lot of starchy food and then going to sleep. These guys get up before dawn and exercise on an empty stomach for hours before lunch, so exercise is NOT as important as eating habits when it comes to losing weight.

Join some kind of forum on-line or in person to keep weight loss a focus and motivation. Weight Watchers has the weekly meetings. Also, keeping a journal of what you eat and how you feel daily might also give you that same motivation, too.

maybe you set up goals and reward yourself. Maybe for example, if you lose a certains number of pounds, then you get yourself that shirt or cd you've been wanting
