I have severe arthritis of the hip and I do Bikram Yoga.

There are several others in my classes that have arthritis of the knees. If you have relatively early arthritis, it will help keep it from getting worse and it will definitely keep the rest of you healthy. You need to keep the knees moving or they will freeze up on you.

Yes, it hurts but your health is everything and it is really good for losing weight. I have lost 40 pounds since I started.

You might think about trying The Movie Star Diet. I lost 50 pounds with it after only five months, and I couldn't be happier. I've tried a lot of different diets (Atkins, South Beach, and Weight Watchers, etc.) and none of them worked anywhere near as well as this one. It's definitely worth a shot if you really want to see a difference in a short time.

I didn't eat breakfast or lunch for 1 month and a dinner of 300 calories or less and I lost 14 pounds. I went from 125 - 114. Starvation is the way to go!

Have you tried aqua or water aerobics? Our gym offers classes and I took one while recovering from a stress fracture in my foot. It's basically no-impact aerobics, since you are in the pool. Plus, the resistance of the water means you can get a good workout in less time.
