What does the Bible say? God hates divorce. OK?

He hates the "act" of it. Because it hurts people. It does NOT say, God hates "Divorcees". It doesn't even remotely suggest that in any way.

unrepented sins will have to be answered for. Go too hell? No. hahahaha

There is only ONE thing, you can go to hell for. period.

If anyone tells you different, you have them provide scripture of a KJV.

Good Q*.

No. If you think that unless we confess to each and every sin we commit, or we're going to hell....you'd better keep a real good list! Jesus paid for our sins, past, present, future. That being said, a born again Christian has the spirit of God living within them, and this spirit convicts us when we sin. It is a natural thing to confess that sin and ask God for forgiveness. Just as David said, when he was in sin and before he repented, his very bones were groaning. When we are out of fellowship because of sin, we need to get right with God. But, sent to hell for not confessing it? No.

There's no particular sin in divorce.

There is sin in remarrying after a divorce.

And since it's highly unlikely the new couple will split up to remedy the situation, repentance is not likely, hence the sin goes unforgiven.

That's why it's called "living in sin."

A very dangerous situation.

Why wouldn't you repent before death...?

There are other reasons for divorce...abuse is one of them (drugs/alcohol), physical/emotional, adultery...

Jesus forgives! Ask and He will do it!!!

if this person who gets divorced already a christian when he comitted this, as far as i know, even he comitted the sin and hasnt been able to repent he will still go to heaven... it depends on your point of view. im basing my knowledge of what i have read from the BIBLE

so what does it take for a person to go to hell? nothing!! the moment he is born, he got the sin from adam and eve. so even if he do good, he will still go to heaven, he has to accept christ as his personal saviour to be saved
