Then WAIT until you save up the money by babysitting or doing other odd jobs after school

If you can't afford the puppy, you can't afford its medical care - expect up to $600 or more in the first 6 months with necessary vaccinations and worming. (and the cheaper the puppy, the more likely it will need a LOT of medical care since its breeder certainly didn't spring for the $200 or more to do the rountine care per puppy or the extra costs for the mother while pregnant.)

Also, what happens to the dog in 2 -3 years when you are out of shcool and going to college or working? Who is going to keep it and take care to it??

No rescue or shelter will let you adopt a dog if your parents don't sign on the dotted line to be responsible for the animal.

No reputable breeder will sell you a puppy when you are underage and acting like such an irresponsible scatterbrain who wants something just because they want with no thought or planning..

Go practice some patience and sacrifice for what you want (a few less movies, CDS & DVDS and burgers and trips to the mall and you'lll have the money in no time - just make sure you save enough to buy the dog AND take care of it for 4-5 years until you get a job - we are talking about $500+ for the purchase and $400 -500 for the bare minimum for care a year not counting medical emergencies that get real expensive real fast.)

Get over the obssession with instant gratifcation and don't act like a spoiled two year old brat who has to have it NOW.

You don't need the dog - you want it for some reason.

You can't afford to buy it so you can't afford to pay for its care - you would NOT be a responsible owner and no legitimate breeder would sell you a puppy.

What - the newest fashion accessory to be pitched out when you want something else "so bad"?

The breeders asking $500 are likely good reputable breeders who take the time and money to ensure the health and tempermant of a litter. The one only asking $100 is likely not doing this and you could end up with a dog that has many health issues as a result.

I'd say to check your local shelter and see if you can get on a list requesting a specific breed.
