I hope and PRAY those out there who dont believe in God will open their eyes to his Holiness, and his Justice and His Love! He holds our breath in his hands....Are you certain that when you die you will go to heaven? We all have to stand before God on Judgment Day ( Revelation 20) And if you think now, on earth that you have it right without God- I hope and pray you think again~ Romans 1:20-22 says "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."
We will all face God on judgment day- Do you know what God did for you so that you could be with him in heaven forever?

To answer your question straight up. Yea, to find out that reason and logic would have had to take a back seat in my life would be the ABSOLUTE WORST. That would mean that angels, and ghosts and witches and "GOD KNOWS" what else, was real, and just hiding from me so that I would be condemned to Hell.
The other choice is a false dilemma. I don't feel the need to live my life 'for' anyone or anything. Whether a person is 'good' or not is dependent on their upbringing as can be witnessed by going to prison to see all the Christian wrong doers there. (not saying that they are ALL christian...just the vast majority)

depends. if the bible is true then god isnt really merciful and just, and its all a big lie anyway, so live life the way i want to live it and take the chance that christianity is wrong? and if its right then god is no better then an immature child. id hate to live a life of paranoia that something i do will offend a god and will send me to hell if i dont pray, and end up finding out there is no god and i did it all for nothing.

Suppose it turns out Satan is the one in charge of humanity not only in this realm but in the next, and he doesn't like people who live a clean life for god?
All these rediculous Pascal's wager type arguments start with the assumption that there is validity to your position. Surely you can see that those who don't already share your position don't generally see ANY validity to it. Christianity has no more validity to me than the Greek pantheon does to you. If someone were to make the same type of rediculous argument you are making but with regard to Zeus, you'd rightfully laugh at how stupid they were being.

That would be pascal's wager, and it works with nearly any concept.
Perhaps god only rewards those that think critically, and thus only atheists go to heaven.
Which would be worse, continuing to believe in Jesus and thus go against the intentions of god when he made man intelligent,
---or to be an atheist, as a reasonable mind demands, and die only to wake in heaven?

Paschal's Wager in another form.
Tell me whats better - to not beleive in God and die, or to beleive in God only as a safety net for your soul - which of course your omnisicent God would KNOW ABOUT and thus cast you into Hell for beleiving in him only to save your own azz????
Id be lying to your God if I faked belief in Him. Id rather give Him the respect he deserves by not faking it, just for the salvation of a non-existent soul.

I'll take alternative number 3: live a good life because that is how best to function in a civilized society, and avoid falling for scams for which there is no evidence.
