Depends on your situation in life. Like Adam and Eve when you sin it is very uncomfortable to be with God until you rectify the situation. If you walk close to Him daily then God gives you the "peace that passes all understanding" mentioned in Philippians 4. Happiness is a human feeling, joy is a spiritual character quality. God does not ask us to seek for happiness because that varies according to what is happening in your life, joy remains in the heart all the time regardless of how terrible things are going on the outside.

Yes. Like Muslims, we pray 5 times a day. It is means for cosistancy. I mean, other religion only pray for God when they're in trouble or maybe they don't know what to do.
Sin can't stop us from praying, not as told by the one before me. Everyone makes mistakes. God is The Merciful. If we ask for forgiveness (with truely regret), God will forgive us, because He knows what is in our heart.
