I need to tape a show that I am going to miss, but I don't know how...?

I am going to miss a show Wednesday night and I would like to tape it. I do not have the manual so I have no clue how to tape it. I need somebody to tell me how to tape it at the certain time it's on. I have a Cinevison DVD/VHS player/Recorder. Thanks for your help!

well what i would do is get a DVR

just hit the record button on your remote or on the vcr. If it's an hour away and you don't know how to set it to record at that time then rewind the tape the whole way and then record. If it's on by four hours or so you'll have 6 hours total on the tape.
