I keep getting tiny little white hard things in my food, when my made cheeseburger there were a lot of them in it. Just now i was eating pizza(sausage),inside the sausage there was one of them, quite noticable because when i bite on it i can feel it. It looks like a peice of bone or something, very small. but what in the heck is it?,I would like to know.

non chewy substances like cartilage or fat that hardens when cooked. Obviously you should buy a different brand that does not add fillers. do not eat ground meat so much. You'll not get those if you eat steaks or chicken legs and breast, Sausage would have lots of it and so will Salami. Stay away from them. Stay away from Ground meet as stated before.

Its bone or gristle. You are buying cheap cuts of meat.

You are finding bits of bone or cartilage. You need to change your meat shopping place.

The white stuff is fat. its not going to hurt you.

It is normal for beef to have fat, it is what makes it tender and juicy. Look at a steak you will see that it has fat around the edges and also in the meat itself, a sign that the meat is good quality is looking for the marble effect in the meat, andm aking sure the right ratio of meat and fat is there
