Unfortunately, atheism isn't considered an organized religion , but it sure as hell should be! We don't follow any of that brainwashing, propaganda that "believers" do. You know what? I think we should have our own church. We could preach about science, common sense, and would worship Jim Darwin. It'd be great. I would like to nominate you to be the new atheist church pastor. What'd you think? You in?

Look, I'm an atheist, too. All religions are fake - but, to people who have a difficult time dealing with life, whether it be because of relationships, finances, poor decisions, etc. - religion is a good way to help them focus on getting out of their misery.

Now, some take it to extreme - they keep on going down the "bad" path they were on originally, and now rely on God as a crutch to help them out of their situation. Mainly, I've found, those are Southern Baptists.

But, religion can give some people hope in time of need. That's about all it's good for.

Me - I'm pretty well-adjusted. I don't need no stinkin' religion - I can handle life on my own!

I can't answer that one because I do not follow an organized religion. I am able to read and comprehend on my own. And my house is more comfortable than the wooden pews and I can choose what days I want to attend...which is usually everyday. And I am not subjected to a fashion parade or a hand deep in my pocket.

I don't really believe any Religion that believes in God is fake. After all in Genesis God says he spread man across the face of the earth and changed their tongues so they wouldn't understand each other, so if they believe in God, maybe they worship differently but, maybe they still worship the same God. So who says they are wrong. Just because I live in America doesn't mean someone on the other side of the world of another Faith, Religion all together, Isn't worshiping the same God.

:) All religions are versions of "truth" as experienced by people at that moment in time. Unfortunately many people still believe the ancient versions of truth that do not make sense in today's time. For instance, Christianity preached earth being the center of the universe until this fact was hard to hide from thinking minds. Christianity was then re-written to fit the truth. I think its time for a new religion based on the truth of today... what do you say? shall i start one? :)

Because I don't have an "organized religion". Religion is a bunch of crap, seriously. I've got Jesus, and that's all I need. God and religion are not the same thing. If going to church makes you a christian, does going to the garage make you a car? Same idea.

My faith is a reasonable faith backed up with evidence. There is historical proof as to many of the claims of the Bible, as well as contemporary literature from those opposed to Christianity that support the claims of the Bible such as the Resurrection. Science has proven many of the claims of Scripture including the Events of Exodus that The History Channel showed the other day.

Now, if you have a specific claim you wish to refute, by all means let me know and I will be happy to offer a rebuttal.

Christianity is in contrast to all different faith on the earth. Islam is a faith invented by utilising Mohammad. Muslims believe this guy and his e book completely and that they don't worry to question it. lots of them know that maximum characters and incidents narrated in Quran are already there interior the bible. it quite is crystal clean that Quran is a solid e book and its finished materials are taken from bible. yet Muslims are hesitant to admit this actuality. They ardently carry on with a guy or woman who has not something to declare his divinity different than the e book dictated by utilising him. Now, in case you look at Christianity, it quite is fullyyt distinctive. It would not carry on with any historic rules or blind faiths. It follows the classes of Jesus, the appropriate individual ever lived on the earth. Jesus is the only one that got here from HEAVEN to earth to coach human beings approximately their loving heavenly father. he's the 1st one to coach approximately afterlife. he's the only one that stated different than HIM none has seen God. He has additionally proved that he's able to win over death. Jesus is the only thank you to God and His kingdom; subsequently, in case you remember on Jesus, you would be saved.

Many use the "How can a million people all be wrong?" line of reasoning. If an idea is accepted by many people, it is seen as a norm and is less likely to be questioned. However, if an idea is unique to just a few people, it's unusual, so it is seen as worthy of criticism.

I don't belong to any organized religion, there are too many strange, trivial differences. I'm fine just believing in God.
