a low carb diet means you should avoid these types of carbohydrates.
Sugar (candy & sweets)
Bread, rice, pasta or anything with flour
bananas
(Eat fruit but not too much, the natural ocurring sugars are a little high in carbs.)
Avoid alcoholic beverages.

Rice, pasta, potatoes, beans, breads, anything with sugar, fruit. Its not all as simple as not eating carbs. Go and get a copy of The Atkins diet and a carb guide(both of which you can usually find inexpensively at a used book store) and it will explain how to lose weight on a low carb diet.

Avoid processed carbohydrates and refined sugars. Choose whole grains instead. For example, eat oatmeal (without lots of sugar added) instead of Fruit Loops. Eat brown rice instead of white rice. Eat whole grain bread instead of white bread.

no bread, no tortillas corn or fluor, no rice , no pasta , no beans, no cookies, no soft drinks (except diet w/o caffeine)no milk.you can eat any kind of meat, any kind of cheese and eggs in any form
no fruits ( because of the sugar)
