should i ask out the guy i like? i think he likes me back, but i can't tell. what should i do? we've spent A LOT of time together recently, and it seems like he is trying to get to know me better, also he bought me coffee at the homecoming game for my school on friday, even though i had my own money(and he knew about it) the only major thing that is keeping me from asking him out is the fact that my best friend likes me and got jealous when i hung out w/my crush at the homecoming game, and i can only imagine what his reaction would be if i asked out my crush....plz help!!!!

ok i sprained my ankle yesterday, and today my crush went out of his way to help me on the bus. and he helped me to all my classes today, and he seems to like this "special" time, alot.

today, he asked me if he had made a good impression on my mom and grandma yesterday(they picked me up from school), and when i asked him why he hesitated before he said " for no reason"....
so does this mean he likes me?

Okay...your best friend likes you. Assuming it's another boy, does he know that he is relegated to "friend" status, and you're not interested in him "like that"? You may or may not have been leading him on this whole time - I don't know how you've treated him - but it sounds like he needs a dose of clarification. WARNING: Be prepared to lose him over that, if in fact he was just being your friend in hopes of eventually becoming something more. But in that case, it would have fallen apart some other time anyway.
If he swears up and down that he knows he's just your friend and he's okay with that, then absolutely nothing is stopping you from asking out the guy you like in "that way". If he continues to get jealous, then it's his problem because he's been insincere with you.
As for the guy you like...go for it! It sounds like he enjoys spending time with you, and even if he ends up not liking you back in "that way", you'll both have had an enjoyable evening.

I would go for it. You only live once. I would tell your friend that you really like him and he likes you. She may get mad but she'll get glad later.
