Nope, its there for people who exist but dont know why. It is there for order, or else we'd all be worse than animals as all animals follow their set way in nature. Man is the only one who can make his own rules.

Religion can be one of the three ways one can gain control in a society. besides this religion is a way for people to explain the workings of the universe, what happens after death, when to plant and harvest crops, etc.etc. so if anything it is for people who are existing rather than who are scared of existing.

I don't think you're right there. I mean, you don't just say 'I'm scared of existing, hence I'm going to become religious'. People are religious because people around them are religious, and it's something that they've been brought up with. In a more general sense, people are religious because they need guidance and faith, also they don't want to believe that when they die, that's the end of it all.

No. Religion is for those who wish to exist as they were created to exist. Without religion reality becomes confusing. May the Lord bless and keep you. May He let the light of His face shine upon you.

Religion is man's attempt to cover HIMSELF for his own iniquity. Jesus was anti-religious. That is why he argued with the Pharisees.
