It is Europes largest car park. It is the longest motorway in the world that does not go anywhere. It is only in the UK that we can build a six lane motorway only for everyone to try and find away to avoid actually using it.

The only cool thing about the M25 is the following story which a friend of a friend as what knows a police officer insists is true (i.e. take with sodium chloride)

Anyway, apparently somebody spends all day driving round the M25, then eventually pulls over and asks a police officer "Am I in Leeds yet?"

The best thing about the M25 is that that much traffic is going round London and not through London nor using the minor roads.

I hate it and am going Gatwick airport next week. As I work til 3 by the time we set off and I hit it it will be rush hour. Equally we land at 7 in the morning getting back so am dreading the drive home especially after an 11 hour night flight! Can never sleep!!! Last time it was exactly the same times and it took me 5 hours to get home. Only thing cool is the air-con blowing in my face to help me calm down!!

It's the world's biggest ring road, with added extras:

1) accidents gaurnteed everyday
2) some mini driver tries to bully a lorry driver when coming of the sliproad (only in London!)
3)2nd worst road in the country bar spagetti junction in Birmingham
