I have a sweet tooth. I really like chocolate and anything with sugar. How do you cut down on sugar? What are some healthier alternatives to sugary snacks?

Substitute "Splenda" sweetener when ever you can. I make a hot chocolate powder with instant milk, Splenda and coco powder that tastes as good as regular coco.

I started by buying bakers chocolate bars and freezing it - then let 1 square melt in your mouth slowly savoring the taste, it should take about 3 minutes and will really curb the chocolate beast. Next keep lots of small size fruits handy like clementine oranges, kumquats, small red apples and so on, snack on these instead of candy. The change in habit take a while but the benefits far out weigh any binging. You could also reward yourself by putting any money you didn't spend on junk food in a splurge jar and when you reach $50 take yourself for a pampering massage or a friend out to dinner.

the healthier alternatives aren't going to satisfy your cravings for sweets, trust me. Just eat your sweets in moderation. Don't overdo it. When you eat ice cream, get a small bowl, when you eat a candy bar, get the snack-sized ones,etc...... You don't have to gorge yourself when your sweet tooth attacks. Just eat smaller portions and you'll be fine. I don't know about you, girl, but when I want chocolate or something like that, I want it full strength, not something made with honey and flax seed!! You know what I'm saying?!?! Good luck. Hope this helps.

comprehend... that sugar is made out of carbohydrates besides. your physique breaks down carbs into glucose that's sugar so whenever you consume a bread roll, or a slice of bread comprehend that it is going to likely be switched over to sugar same with fruit. the key is to consume complicated carbohydrates which includes oatmeal, brown rice, total grain bread so as that the sugar isnt switched over all at one time... cereal is all junk foodstuff besides even particular ok... yet once you prefer to decrease sugar out purely make advantageous all you drink is water and fat unfastened milk and you would be great
