I'm live in Illinois just a few miles from Indiana. I'm not sure what kind of honeymoon you were thinking, but I heard of this very nice, romantic hotel. This is the websight for it http://www.honeymoon-inn.com/ I've never personally been there, but have heard from more than one person that it is a great experience.

Well, I live in Indiana, and I can't think of anywhere romantic at all. There are several nice hotels in many of the larger cities, and there are bed-and-breakfasts everywhere.
Good luck, and sorry to be so unhelpful!
EDIT: So I checked out the link from freecounselingrocks and I have to say that Brown County is beautiful. I didn't think of that when I was typing my answer, but I wish I would've. I've been there twice, since it's about 2 hours away, and now that I looked at that website, I'm half considering going there to elope!

Well if you want to go somewhere beautiful Colorado is awesome! There are so many places that are gorgeous this time of year! Like Glenwood springs. It has the hot springs up there and it is wonderful! It has also been snowing up there (not much though!). So what you could do is be in the hot springs with your new hubby look up to the sky and look at the snow and not have it touch you! It is a amazing experience. Plus it is not to expensive there. Also another place is Colorado Springs. The place to visit is Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. You and the hubby to be would be awe struck. It is a park and the red rocks there are amazing. Check it out! Colorado is beautiful you won't be disappointed! And Congratulations!

Puerto Rico is beatiful yet no longer secure in any respect. in simple terms in January there have been better than a hundred murders. final 300 and sixty 5 days, there have been approximately a million,000. And we are speaking approximately an island the size of a prevalent city, basically a hundred miles via 35 miles. I left the island in 2000. wanted to come back lower back, yet then my daughter become born in 2004. i do no longer want to develop my daughter in that environment, so i'm unlikely lower back. Jamaica, is weedheaven. They even help pay the country's debt via merchandising drugs usually to Denmark or different drug legal international places. it quite is a beatiful as PR and a splash greater secure. anybody isn't impolite to vacationer, they are impolite to anybody. it quite is type of their ingredient. it quite is often cultural ingredient. The tribes that have been taken there have been usually Zulus, which as you understand have been warrior at the start. they are very closed minded and don't fool around. as quickly as they open, they are your superb acquaintances. Costa Rica may be the spot to loosen up and characteristic a incredibly secure honeymoon. I say incredibly because of fact there are continually the guerrillas from adjoining international places that are interior the corporate of abducting american vacationer. Even then, it quite is greater secure than PR and Jamaica.

Well, I am not sure about Indiana, but here in MN there are so many wonderful places to go. I really love Craguns Resort. It is so pretty and reasonably priced! Also we have the Mall of America, a wonderful arts district in Minneapolis, TONS of travel/sightseeing things to do here!

I would honeymoon in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It is beautiful, quiet and the lake is crystal clear and warm! It is a very romantic place, if my guy didn't pop the question there we would have chosen that for our honeymoon. Congrats!

If you want to go to Indiana, then Brown County is it. Or if you want to go a bit north, the lakefront around St. Joseph is nice, too.
