I say wait for him to make the first move. Some guys hate it when you put them in situations where they feel like they have to do something that they might not necessarily are ready for. I say you hint at him first. If it doesn't work hint very openly. If that doesn't work either than wait for a situation where he is in a playfull mood. Than try tickling him or create some kind of physical annoyance. During the play hold his hand. I know this is too complicated but I think it will work.

It depends on the situation, but if you feel comfortable with it, then just hold his hand. Guys don't always have to be the one to make the first move.

If this is a relationship question you have to wait until he is comfortable .. My bf is a grown man and he didn't hold my hand until recently. He has to want to do it on his own.
