I was out with my mum ( she's 86 ) the other day when a group of 6 thug's beat her up and stole her bag , when i got home and told my dad about it he said , did'nt you help , i said no , christ there's 6 of em why would they need any help !

Dude I would kill for my mother.. what kind of son are you that would let this happen and just sit and watch. I dont give a damn about the number of thugs... and I am a woman.

Well hell, if your tale is true, then I am dismayed.
If it is a joke, then I am equally dismayed at your attitude..
If I trust the former, - I can see where gun crime comes from, and also see where a blind rage would creep in. I would act.

I think that you did the right thing...you both could have been hurt very badly if you had tried to step in...a bag can be replaced...if you had intervened they would have just beat her worse and you too.
