Sometimes, I thought that homosexual is kinda pity, because the one,who is gay (since they were born/they were kids), doesn't have a choice.of course they dont want to be a gay. They want to be born normal, like any other, boy likes girl & vice versa. But they just don't like their opposite gender.

But some people say homosexual is forbiden in the bible. How can you stop it from happening? It's not your choice to be a gay, right? (maybe for some people yes-because they had trauma about the opposite gender or unhappy family..)

It is forbidden in the bible. read 1 Corinthians 6:9. however people are not born gay, you grow into it. you are not born with a physical attraction for certain things. it has more to do with your environment growing up.

however i want everyone to know that i have nothing against gays, i am not christian and i do not judge them for their lifestyle, but everyone can do something to not be what they are. you can choose not to be fat, you can choose not to be gay, you can choose not to murder. everything in life is a choice. its just how your willing to change your current mode of thinking.

The people who wrote the bible were unaware that homosexuality is biological. True, homosexuality was considered a mental disorder...

...in the '60s!

In 1975 the American Psychological Association (APA) publicly stated that homosexuality is not a mental disorder, but "the way a portion of the population expresses human love and sexuality." This change of definition was a result of serious research and experimentation of a scientist named Karen Hooker. A test done in 1990 by D.F. Swaab showed that the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) in the brains of homosexual males were twice the size of those in the brains of heterosexual males. The SCN is a nucleus in the hypothalamus which is a region of the mammalian brain and is very involved in the control of emotions and sexual activity.

While Swaab was doing his research, Laura S. Allen found that the anterior commisure of the hypothalamus was much larger in homosexuals than in heterosexuals. The results of these two scientists' experiments proved that homosexuality is biological, since the size of both the SCN and the anterior commisure are determined during the first trimester.

It also says in the bible that wearing clothes of two different materials is wrong. It says that braiding your hair is wrong. It says that eating shrimp is wrong. But these things go on ALL THE TIME WITHOUT ANYONE QUESTIONING IT.

You cannot stop homosexuality from happening any more than you can stop a left-handed person from being left-handed.

Blessed be.

I was born gay -- the genetics back it up. And considering all the evil that the God of the Bible supposedly did, it's difficult to believe he exists; when you get to the errors, it becomes impossible to believe he exists.

So don't worry about it, there's nothing to worry about. Live your life as best you can and let the frightened little children play the brimstone game all they like. One day they'll figure out there's no such thing.

Well for one, the bible is pure rubbish. Secondly, as if you can "choose" to be gay. I am a straight female and can honestly say I have never woken up in the morning and thought "oh I think I'll go for some minge today".

Okay, here's my take on the Christian point of view. All this 'fancying' of genders is just hormones. Nobody has to act on their hormones. I, as a straight guy, find it hard to believe that a young boy just 'has a feeling' that he'd like a 'sausage' up his bum, or would like to suck that cute guy's big 'sausage'. As to the gender association... nobody is compelled to ACT on the feelings that the hormones give them. Not even straight men and women.
That being said, I think that we should leave the poor 'herms' and 'his-hers' alone. If they are going to Hell for their big crime.. let them suffer there... in 'peace and quiet.'

1 Cor. 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts,

Where does it say gay?
Oh, I’m sorry sexual perverts. Only gay people could possibly be sexual perverts. Nothing a straight person does with anyone one of the opposite gender, of any age, could possibly be considered perverted.

Those of you who insist that being gay is a choice, could you please include your medical credentials?

Well its like this. That bible thing is just an interpretation that is always put out there to defend what hetrosexuals call normal. I am gay and im ok with it. I love god and god loves me. It took a long time to come to that conclusion but it made me a stronger person. I have since educated myself, purchased a home with my partner and run a very succesfull company that has almost 30 million in revenue. I did this because i wasn't going to let them beat me and im stronger now for it.

Having some friends and family that are gay/lesbian and having seen what they went through and how hard they tried to be "normal", how I've known teenagers thrown out of their houses by their family because of it, the total rejection even by friends...I really don't understand how anyone would choose it. Ever.

You are not born gay it is a curse written about in Romans chapter 1. You could have the curse since very young through generational curses because of parents etc., but God can and will break any curse. THIS KIND GOES NOT OUT BUT BY PRAYER AND FASTING.

FASTING works, I don't care what anyone says.

The feelings towards a person are not chosen, but acting on them is a choice. You can choose to not act on your feelings. Adults do this all the time.
