It's true for me. Give me random chance anyday over a mythical, angry, jealousy skydaddy that requires worshippers to feel good about himself (whether that's Zeus or Jehovah....it's all the same)

That was spoken by a pagan. Yes, pagans were (and are) deceiving themselves with insubstantial dreams and lies.
However, random and careless chance does not control the world. So Euripedes is wrong there. Although how could he be right, exactly, since he did not know God, and Christ would not arrive on earth 'til 406 years after Euripedes died.

Absolutely. There's no evidence that some invisible beings are living up in the sky controlling nature with puppet strings. So random chance must be the correct answer.

Paradox,
"Do you think this quote is true?"
To that person it was. If he didn't know God, God probably didn't want him. It's the same for anyone.
Here, I have something for you:
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."
20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
22 Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
26 Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.
27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are,
29 so that no one may boast before him.
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
31 Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
This tells us that there is worldly wisdom, and Godly wisdom. The guilt many associate with the Bible of being man made? Where does anyone get that? If it were man made in content, why would there be a problem. But there is a problem, isn't there? Because it claims something that is not the wisdom of man. What is the wisdom of man? That which places man at the center of what's important. My views, and my life.
The Bible places God at the center, and Jesus at the center of that. That's why men have a problem with that. Because they cannot fathom the important and valid idea that we must bow to Him, and that we can't know what is fair and unfair. So the worldy wisdom covers itself in a pretense of superiority, that will not be sufficient to save them.

no I disagree as Religion has become one of the three ways people can gain control in a society. each one of us have the ability to use the wisdom and knowledge GOD gave us in order to prevent random and chance. all we have to do is maintain respect and discipline in order for society to continue to thrive

You don't sound any more intelligent by quoting anyone.
This is a really rather simple (and trite) question: do you believe in G-d?
And yes I do.
