If you want to live in fear of everything including your own life than you should definitely be a Christian. If you want to blame others for your misfortune and let others think for you be a Christian or a Muslim. If you are scared of noises at night, fear possession and think that supernatural things govern fate and you are just a pawn than you should go with Christianity, Buddhism or Hinduism. If you are really dim witted and fear everything and you also believe in Bigfoot and Chupacabras you should be a Wiccan.

Now, if you are ready to think for yourself than you should throw down the canons of organized superstition and mythology and embrace Nihilism or Atheism. again that is for people who can think rationally about things it is not for the masses or the sheeple.

not a dumb question at all. you really have to convince which religion is telling you the truth, only by studying can you accomplish that.

The Christian/Jewish religion that i believe in, so what i have done for myself, is examine the religions, and demonations that splinter from those religions.

For me, being a christian i have studied and found out on my own by research over "time" that the bible has always been the most accurate religious book.

are there religons that share common ground as you stated. Like going to hell, life after death, according to the bible only a selected are going to heaven for a purpose. hellfire well further study would show you much different. Leave customs and stuff and look at biblical facts.

1. Consider acrchelogy, aspect of all the cities and civilialtions it covers.

2. Science, it tells about the earth hanging on nothing, the heavens (as to different layers of atmosphere ) how the world is a sphear.

3. Biology, Job explains the earths eco-system in rain cycle,

4. health, stay away from blood, having the sick be seperated from the rest of the population, (quarintined) whoah

5. using runing water to bathe.

6. the laws in dealing with other nations, economy, disadvantaged.

now which demonoation is correct. Well thats the easy but contraversal part. You have to as What does God require?
Who is really doing his will, and what is doing Gods will. You know it is preaching and teaching, and being no part of this world. As in Acts 10-24 i beleive state Makeing a through witness. Which of all the christian demonoations is makeing contact with poeple by teaching and preaching one on one??

Ha Ha. In one book God got so tired of the foolishness he spawned his Son to set the dorky nerds pervs straight.
But damn he forgot He allowed freewill and the constitutional right to plagiarize works of art and historical origin
Can you think of a better way to get a stupid fool to give his money just by making him feel good and part of the group.
You know they do. They put an add in a paper and post on the grocery store bulletin board revival prayer gathering etc.

Religions come from people representing
God.
Creation comes from God.

For the most part, religions are tools that
mankind uses to nail down something, that's
not supposed to be nailed down, to begin with.

Worship life in Truth and in Spirit.

I recall a boyhood saying, which still holds
true, today. Only God can make a tree.

I do believe that religions are made by humans. Many religions are created because there are varied cultures in the world. I also do believe in God, and my God is the one in the bible.

Since, our ancestors, adam and eve did an early sin, we are separated from God.He offers us love and safety but we, human, have to seek Him first. He said to Thomas.his disciple, that he appreciates people, who don't see it but believe it...

If religion was from God, wouldn't we all be of the same religion, and have always been of the same religion.

Religion emerged when human cultures emerged because of its ability to help enforce moral standards in a community. It has presently outlived its usefulness.

Believe in reality.

Well. I believe in God too - the God of the bible. I guess if the "god" you believe in doesn't match up to the God of the bible .... they're not the true god. Sounds like you're unsure and searching .... and it's not a dumb question. Many people ask questions about God. Please feel free to email me personally if you'd like to talk more.

Our beliefs aren't just based on a few books. But on 1000s of years of human experiences. And have developed into different
religions by mens interpretations of these things.
What that means is, people who didn't have the experience
personally, trying to explain it.
See what I'm sayin'?

God is that culture, creating the human experience. There is no choice of gods to believe in: there is One God.

Religion is an invention of man. As is the idea of god. We're all on our own out here floating through space. Whee!
