Buddhism only "allows" you to escape karma if you attain nirvana and that would be a pretty painful experience for the average mortal, because it would require self denial and the rejection of materialism.

1)The cyclical nature of existence means you're bound to get it right at some point. And 'karma' is universal as a principle: do unto others, what you sow you shall reap etc.

2) In the Abrahamic Religions, there is only one 'chance'. At the end, in Islam, there is a general forgiveness of all souls and a reconciliation with Allah. Pauline Christianity creates a permanent Hell. Judaism has places like Ghenna and Sheol.

well the karma is interesting, but it creates perpetual testing of your soul, you can get set back, but eventually get to peace. but then again theres really no punishment except life.

jewish i dont think believes in hell.

christian-many concepts of punishment, but the catholic purgatory i find the most lenient, where unless you were super bad u go to heaven, just go through some minor flames to
remove sin. this allows for the most mericful God option.

if true, i would say karma, because it has the person change themselves. and gives 2nd chances.

I vote for number two. Jesus forgives the repentent. The courts have generally accepted conversion to christianity as a reason for leniency.

In the book of Jonah, the Bible seems to be recommending the drawing of lots to answer such mystical questions. Why don't you give that a go?

i'm biased, but i still say judaism. we're pretty tolerant. its pretty hard to get punished for anything in judaism. you have to try really, really hard to be bad. eastern religions are also close, but from what i understand, just being on earth is a punishment in eastern religions. thats kind of depressing. but on the plus side nirvana sounds nice.

If you are looking for a way to keep sinning and get into heaven, guess what? It will not happen! You either fallow God all the way or you are wasting you time.
