When Jesus returns and sets up his kingdom - obviously he will expound the heart and soul of truth, settling all arguments about the Gospel once and for all. However do you also believe he will teach mankind new technologies and new ways of doing things?

As for myself I believe he will. I don't think we will traverse the stars because the Earth is man's domain (according to scriptures) but I think he will show new forms of transportation, better ways to produce foods to feed the world's starving and things like that. I understand that some people actually think we will be riding donkeys and living in lime-stone homes and tents as per the Bible times, which I find silly reasoning.

Non the less, I would not balk at whatever Jesus brings us. Now that you have my view, I am asking for your opinion on this subject.

I believe whatever God has in store for me will be infinitely better than what I have now and therefore I am content to not wonder tooo much about it.

Deuteronomy 29:29 tells us that the secret things belong to God and I think that your question falls into this area - but it is fascinating to speculate isn't it?
We know that there will be universal peace, no death and an absence of sin but there is so much that could be included in this. For example, I expect that we will understand the whole of creation in its completeness and be able to use it - how about harnessing fusion? But we could also experience extra dimensions (physicists tell us there are nine, but this does vary a bit). A new dimension is something we can't possibly envisage now, but then we shall have glorified, immortal bodies as God intended at creation.
When I look at the wonders of nature I often think that if it is so beautiful in a fallen world then how much better must it be in a perfect one?
I also think that we shall have purpose - not just sitting on a damp cloud! Our worship of God may include us being his ambassadors in far-flung parts of the universe.
I can wait, though, and I'll book an appointment with you in glory so that we can compare notes on what is similar and what is different to what we see now!

Those who overcome by the word of their testimony and the blood of the Lamb, will be given the right to rule over nations. They will be Priests and Kings, in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father.

They will be ever in His glorious presence because He is going to be with them continually forever.

As far as teaching new tech, or ideas, He is doing that now in this day and age. He gives wisdom to all men liberally who ask.

hmm, my opinion is, I guess, since Jesus is Jesus [God], why would he need transportation? I really can't imagine Jesus hailing a taxi..... but it sure is exciting to think about!
