It is pretty easy to enlist as an MP.

Every job is dangerous in Iraq. Patrols, transportation, and supply have it especially bad as they are on the road a lot. The largest threat is IEDs to personnel travelling.

MPs operate in various functions from on-post security - to patrols and guard. A unit almost doesn't know their exact function until they arrive on the ground.
