I am interested in what people have to say about this. Is the soul purely metaphysical, or is there a physical element to it? Or do souls even exist?

There are two elements of the soul. Gen 2:7, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." So, there you have it, dust of the ground and the breath of God.

There is no physical element to a soul. It is simply an idea conjured up by humans through religion.

The body and the soul are the same thing. The mean the same. Synonymous.

Pure energy, a DVD of your life based on the law of opposites. Eg, if you have been a bastard, that will produce a negative spirit arising out of your materialistic thoughts during life.

you are your soul. ever have an oobe? I beleive that when we die our soul does in fact go to heaven...just to reflect on the life weve lived.....then sometimes we are reborn into anouther life. ever hear anyone say your very wise...you must have a very old soul... they are refering to past lives.
