Very good answer Micaela!
Only in America will they split up a family and force the family into poverty instead of letting the immigrant stay and support the family!
This continues to draw off of the taxpayers in the form of these "at risk" children growing up in a single parent home and turning towards gangs, violence, or teenage pregnancy!

I am referring to children being born to American Citizens married to immigrants. The children have a right to be here if they are a product of a U.S. Citizen...

Of course the parent's support these children while they are with them.....but when they are deported the government has too. Kinda stupid that they would split families up knowing that they going to have to go on welfare huh?

If the family is split up it's the fault of the parents. I'm sure they are not forbidden to take their children or spouses with them. How many different ways can people say we must accept illegal invaders because of their children? When do they become responsible for dragging their kids or pregnant bodies over here just to get a free ride? Why shouldn't they be charged with child abuse and neglect? But we don't, and we don't take their kids either. If you care about these kids then tell their parents to stop using them as anchors!
I saw your comment and wanted to say that even in those circumstances the parents made the choice. I even made that choice once (or maybe I was being used?). Whatever you want to call it, I had a child with an illegal at an age when he should have been imprisoned for touching me, but when I was old enough I married him and went to Mexico to help him get his citizenship. If he had been deported before then then much of the blame would be on him, and some of it would have been on me. The government would not have been at fault for enforcing the laws. Then I could have gotten some great career training like my sister did for NOT being married with children. I was trying to do the right thing.

The tax payers are paying either way, but you can not get mad at the American citizens or the government for the parent being deported. He came here illegally, and he married some one that I'm sure knew he was illegal, and then they had a child. It is irresponsible to have a child under those circumstances, and it is unmoral to then stand behind that child, so he can evade deportation.
People need to take responsibility for their own actions, breaking the law and playing victim, should not be allowed or rewarded in any way.
Who's fault is it, that the child will see his father deported ? Its the fathers fault.
I have a feeling this is not the answer you want, but I can not sugar coat ignorance, and stupidity and pass it off as sympathy.

i've got faith for you, i actually do, yet there is often the choice to visit Mexico with him. to not point out that if he remains in the perspective of being deported you may bail him out for $7000 and he can ask a decide to bypass away voluntarilly, that way he won't ought to attend 10 years yet to return legally. you ought to start the immigration technique and easily stay in Mexico a pair of 365 days and a 0.5. Then he will have all of the possibilities that he didnt as an unlawful immigrant! My buddy is in the area, she is doing the comparable element, yet she isn't married to him and it makes it harder. when you consider which you're already married, in case you started the technique already, then you definately can ask a decide to permit him wait it out here in the U. S.. Get a criminal professional. no rely if it extremely is in basic terms too previous due, and he has already been deported, then the two you will ought to bypass and stay in Mexico (with the intention to be jointly) or he can come back illegally, if he does and gets caught, he can't get papers! It does suck to tear households aside, yet there are effortless counsel on the thank you to repair it. I desire you the suited of success. My husband is now an enduring resident, it extremely is one among those load of my concepts!

If I were the illegal parent,I would do one of two things.I would let my child stay with friends or family or I would take my child with me.They are not forced to leave their child that is born in the USA.There should not be that loop hole any way.The 14 th amendment needs to be repealed
or resended what ever its called. It was not passed for this purpose it was to protect the slaves from being sent to Africa after they were set free. Not for an illegal alien to use as a reason to be here. The baby is eligible for all entitlements that as a citizen he/she can get.Welfare/Social Security/All entitlements. Its just not a good thing for legal Americans.Of course I feel compassion for the parents and the child. But they were fully aware of the legal problems that coming into this country illegally involves.

Well as nice an not nice as it seems for the answer of michela or whatever often these children are sent to another relitive that is near by and then they take care of the child. This isnt in all cases mind you some kids parents come alone just them and the kid and the goverment does indeed pay. Your saying only in america they would split up a family???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
ARE YOU KIDDING ME>>>>??????????????????
Come on the parent knew her or his choice before hoping the border did she or did she not???? So she new of what the posable consequences were correct me if i am wrong, but she knew of the possable consequences didnt she?? SO who splits up the family no my friend it isnt america and it isnt american goverment it was a personal choice that the mother made or the father made or both parents made the blame solely belongs on none other then the parents 2 points and a slam dunk
Id like to see what excuse you come up for that?

Whoever is illegal goes. The children most likely stay here and we have to pay for them. What a nice society we live in. Figure it out people. If you are born here you are an American citizen. Alot of times people go to work and never show up back home cause they get deported.

We don't split anyone up. The people who chose to come illegally can choose to take their child with them. If they don't, we have provision for abandoned children, of course.
Any parent who breaks the law and is faced with jail is separated from their children. It is a consequence of their breaking the law.

Most of us would take our children with us. If they are left behind they are placed with family. Either the rightful parent left behind or aunts and uncles, grandparents. They are wards of the states and are put in foster care or adopted if there is no family. We should never have to be subjected to this and we should be protected, but people believe no matter where you are born if you have dark skin then you do not belong. Funny thing the first people in the US had darker skin.

They knew the possibilities when they came to our country illegally - the way I see it they can take the kid back to mexico or put it in foster care....at least we will only have to support the kid and not the whole family while they continue to crank out a kid every 9 months & 1 day...
