Does BMI (body mass index) apply to teenagers?

Cuz on this one site it says it applies to ADULTS

why adults and not, say, like teenagers or kids?

BMI applies to teenagers on a different scale. The Center for Disease Control offers this BMI Calc for childeren and teens.

well the accuracy falls below certain height and weight by some formulas, for kids, the growth charts are the best, good luck

it does, its just different. they have ones for teenagers and kids.
