If you joinned the Navy yesterday... you have no clue as to what job you will be doing, let alone what your specific title will be. If you were given a specific title, your recruiter is pulling your leg.

Your job will be submarine electronics technician and something you should try to learn all that you can while you are in there, because when you get out there are all kinds of electronic fields that you can qualify for especially in satellite communications and computer systems, they may not be the same submarine to work with but the systems are being used in some civil areas of public use, they can be pretty high paying, good luck.

You were accepted into the U.S. Navy? The submarine service?? and you do not know what your training will be???
Addendum: If you got a 'guaranteed seat' in A school, then that's where you will be trained. It is, or was, unusual for sub service volunteers to be accepted at recruitment, but things do change.
Sub duty is great. If you like solid, stable rides try for a boomer. If you like to visit a lot of different ports, try for a fast attack boat.
Either way, qualify on your boat as soon as possible. Earn those dolphins and you will have something to be proud of.

It could be Submarine Electronic Technician. It's a decent job. Any job you get in the military that deals with computers and electronics is good because it will give you usable skills to get a decent paying job when you get out of the navy.
