how many days would you count it as it did not come heavey it comes light for a while then heavey again meaning on the same day .does anyone knows what i am talking about plezz help.

count any day you have to wear protection.

You might be more accurate to count it in hours. Count from when you noticed the onset and count the hours until you no longer felt the need to wear protection. Some people have irregular periods like that. I don't know how old you are, so am not sure how to counsel you on causes. Try to give more information on your age when you ask such a question. If you are just starting to have periods, the causes can be much different than if you are middle aged and facing menopause.
You don't mention if your periods are painful, or if there is any discharge besides the period. If you have further questions, contact your doctor. You could keep a diary of your period with times of the day and a short description of your flow to show the doctor. that will give him more information to go on. Good luck.

well dear every1 is different. Most gurls on average have their period for about 5 days, but there are some that have it more than 5 and others that have it less than 5 days. In ur case ur period lasted for 3 days, which is normal for some folks. One of my frenz has a cycle like that. Its sounds like u just started ur period. Usually ur body will do certain things to adjust to this, ur period will come irregular and might come for more days for one month than the other. It might take months or even as much as a year and a half before you will have regular periods, by then u will understand yourself more and know what to expect since every gurl has her own patterns.......good luck, dont worry u'll be ok
