Do you know of any hand lotions that will fade the age spots? My mom would like to know and she thanks you in advance.

Traditionally, the commercial product used, in the US is called Porcelana. There may be newer products on the market, but I'm not aware of them,

My son used to be very ashamed of his freckles. At about 10 or 11 years of age, he bought, out of his own allowance, a quart jar of Porcelana. He applied it religiously, every day and evening. If it made any difference on his skin, his mom and I didn't see it, but, then again, he was so heavily freckled, his skin tone more resembled a girraffe's. He swore that his friends noticed the difference, so we smiled, and let him out grow his freckles.

And furthermore, many others will also swear by this product.

My take is that some of these spots are as much a part of growing and aging as thin skin, fine wrinkles and greying hair. We can stave these off, as long as we can, but must succumb, eventually. We can, either grow old gracefully, or be that one, stooped octegenarian with dark hair or wig.

Give your mom the best advice you can find, here, then take her hands in yours and tell her one, single, fine remembrance of what those hands did for you when you were a kid. Then give her a hug and let her do with them what she wants.

She'll know what's important, to you, about her hands.

Pycnogenol cream may help. Look for it on the internet or in a health food store.
