Is it o.k. to put only one panel on a window that is 29" wide and the panel is54" wide?

Of course it's okay, the only problem is that the window is always covered unless you have a tie back. I've used one panel on each of the two windows in a room, then tied each one back opposite the other so that from outside it apeared as one window.

sure the panels should be at least twice the width of the windows
